Over thE years

Since 1996, when Zach was diagnosed, the Schindler Family has been supporting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We started out joining the local St. Louis events, but with our family being directly impacted, we wanted to do more. So “The Triathlon” and the Schindler Family Foundation was born. Every August since then, we have had hundreds of players and volunteers out to help us grow and meet our goals. With all of your help, we have donated over $340,000 dollars to research to help find a cure for Type 1 diabetes. On top of all that, we are now proud to say we are expanding our reach. We have donated $30,000 to families in the surrounding St. Louis area that have loved ones battling ALS. This includes buying wheelchairs, chair lifts, equipment to make their homes more accessible, etc. Supporting both causes just feels right. Each year, with our whole community behind us, we know we can make an impact on so many. We can’t thank everyone enough and look forward to MANY years to come.
